Rock Solid Kids

Rock-Solid Kids will help parents, teachers and children’s ministry leaders build a strong ministry - in the home and church - modeled on scriptural teaching. This examination of the biblical basis for children’s ministry includes eight core chapters. Each chapter is based on one or more Scripture passages and covers topics such as the importance, responsibility, content and golden opportunity of children’s ministry.
The book will be a required text, and I will have them available at a discounted price.
This is not simply a ‘parenting’ class, it is a course on raising kids with a biblical world view and a solid biblical foundation - so it is not only for parents, but also for teachers of children, relatives of children - anyone who has a part in raising children to know and love and follow God. There is some pretty amazing content in this course that I'd hate for parents to miss if they skip the 'parenting' class because they are already 'good' parents. The focus of this class is not on parenting tips or discipline. It is broader and much more important than mere 'parenting' which is often rather passive or reactionary. (What to do when your kids do this) This will get to the heart of why we need to be much more intentional as parents and as a church, whether we have kids in the nest of not. This book is already beginning to have an impact on our children’s ministry and it needs to impact our homes as well.
